More than 450 Angus pupils gathered in Forfar to hear how a road crash impacts greatly on many lives.
Older pupils from Arbroath High, Monifieth High and Webster’s High, as well as Dundee and Angus College and Voluntary Action, were at Safe Drive Stay Alive at the Reid Hall for the educational roadshow, which exposes its audience to the realities of a serious car crash and its aftermath.
Statistically, young drivers are much more likely to be involved in a collision, often due to inexperience and a lack of understanding the risks.
Safe Drive Stay Alive hopes to reduce the number of young road casualties in Tayide.
The event is produced and supported by the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service, Police Scotland, the Scottish Ambulance Service, NHS Tayside, and local authorities, as well as their relevant Community Safety Partnerships.
It will be seen by more than 4,000 pupils across Tayside this month, with more Angus pupils gathering at the Reid Hall.
