The first hole has been renamed after the long-serving professional at the links, who died earlier this year aged 66. The memorial weekend also included a pro/am competition with more than 40 teams of four taking part. All the proceeds will go to Macmillan Cancer Support, which helped Mr McLeod and his family. Mr McLeod turned professional in 1963 and took over the running of the Monifieth pro shop from his father Ron in 1975. He retired in 2011.
