The body of Tony English (59) was discovered in his Kinloch Street cottage on the morning of December 11. The service took place at the premises of funeral directors James Ashton and Edward McHugh in Lochee. Mr English was originally from County Antrim but had lived in Carnoustie for around 30 years. He had worked as a driller for an offshore oil firm in Aberdeen and also undertook casual work as a golf caddie.
