As excitement builds towards the Montrose Music Festival weekend, East Links is preparing to take on its new role as a stadium venue for the event.
The home of the League Two Gable Endies is staging outdoor entertainment on Saturday afternoon.
The club’s newly-appointed management pairing of George Shields and Lee Wilkie are looking forward to welcoming players with a musical talent rather than a footballing one.
Peyton Place and the Red Pine Timber Company will perform on a purpose-built stage in front of the main stand, making it the only outdoor venue apart from Friday night’s MoFest headline act Status Quo.
Boss Shields said: “It’s great to see the club getting involved in what is a fantastic event for the town that just gets bigger every year. “
