Drug dealing gangsters jailed after Angus farmer threatened with shotgun
ByThe Courier Reporter
Two drug dealers whose accomplices threatened an Angus farmer with a shotgun have been jailed.
Manny Naveed, 32, and Alan Fraser, 42, got their sidekicks to confront Derek Greenhill Jr after they thought he had been interfering with their secret drugs factory near Forfar in 2012.
Naveed accused Mr Greenhill of breaking into a shed on his family’s farm, which was being used to grow cannabis.
Three unknown men turned up three days later to threaten Mr Greenhill, whose family were unaware of what the shed was being used for.
Naveed was jailed for five and a half years whilst Fraser was given a 27-month sentence for drug dealing during sentencing at the High Court in Edinburgh.
When approached by The Courier, the Greenhills said they wanted to put the ordeal behind them.
