Music fans paint Arbroath red during Full Day of Blues
ByThe Courier Reporter
Arbroath was awash with the blues at the weekend with a music event spanning two venues in the town.
Coast nightclub and Devito’s on Millgate were packed with music fans as a Full Day of Blues, organised by Arbroath man Alfie Dickson, took place for the second year in a row.
Last year’s inaugural event was organised in memory of popular blues musician Billy Allardyce, who died from cancer in 2013.
The event was such a success it created strong demand for a follow-up this year and bands from all over the UK flocked to the town to entertain the crowds.
