Police issued an appeal for information after a red Ford Focus was found in a field at Maryton, Kirriemuir, this morning. The car sustained significant damage, having left the road and come to rest in a field. However, no-one was in the vehicle at the time when police arrived. Police later confirmed the driver was safe and well.
