The local community turned out in force on Saturday to welcome the return of the Brechin Pageant.
The event was organised by Bravo Brechin and was held in the town’s public park following a procession from Glebe Park.
The public lined the streets to welcome the parade before proceeding to the park to enjoy a varied selection of entertainment.
Brechin Pageant in the City incorporated a Commonwealth Games theme and featured displays, a family pet show, games, face painting, food and ice cream.
Almost 40 stalls represented local organisations such as Brechin Music Fest, Brechin Cub Scouts and Brechin Pipe Band. The pageant is an important source of fundraising for local groups.
