One person was cut from their car by fire crews, who had attended from Inverbervie, Laurencekirk and Montrose on Tuesday. Both drivers were taken to hospital by ambulance but their injuries were not described as serious. Traffic was delayed in both directions on the A92 while police moved the vehicles involved, a Ford Ka and red Ford Focus. The incident occurred at 2.55pm and emergency services remained at the scene until 4.30pm.
