An Angus brewery has been selected for the second time to be part of Aldi’s annual beer festival.
Mr Brewing Company in Kellas is one of the microbreweries selected to take part in the event, which can be worth more than £200,000 to participants.
Their beer Mor Please is described as a clean tasting, full-bodied golden bitter, bursting with malt and hops and just a hint of honey.
It will sell at £1.99 a bottle.
Ross Niven, joint director at Mr Brewing, said: “We are delighted to be working with Aldi once more on their winter beer festival.
“Having our hand-crafted ales on Aldi’s shelves gives us great distribution around the country which we simply couldn’t manage ourselves as a small brewery.”
The winter beer festival features beers from 47 new and existing breweries.
Richard Holloway, managing director of Aldi in Scotland, said: “There is definitely a growing demand for craft beer in Scotland, so holding another in-store beer festival is a great way for us to show what amazing products are out there from some of the country’s best breweries.”
