Police investigating Kirriemuir sex attack identify witness

Police have identified a witness they want to speak to in connection with a sex attack in Angus.

Officers are continuing enquiries into the sexual assault which happened in Hillbank Terrace in Kirriemuir on Sunday, February 16.

A spokeswoman said they wanted to speak to a potential witness described as being male, aged approximately 65 years and 5ft 4 to 5ft 6 in height.

He was of medium build, wearing a light coloured waist length zip up jacket, light coloured trousers and trainers.

He was also wearing a dark coloured flat cap and was seen walking on the pathway leading from Kirrie Hill towards the Roods at the rear of Hillbank Terrace, about 7.05pm.
