Tutties Neuk pub warned after overcrowding on night of Rangers visit
ByRob McLaren
An Angus bar will receive a written warning by the Angus Licensing Board after it was found to be overcrowded before a recent football match between Arbroath and Rangers.
A complaint was made by Scottish Fire and Rescue Manager David Stapley who estimated Tutties Neuk Inn in Arbroath had around 200 people inside.
The pub, situated opposite Arbroath’s ground Gayfield, has a licensed capacity of 98.
Tutties will also have to employ door staff for games identified by police as being major in the future.
