Man cut free after accident on A92 at East Haven

Emergency services rushed to the scene of an early afternoon Angus road accident on Monday.

One man was trapped in the crash, on the northbound carriageway of the A92 between Dundee and Arbroath, near the East Haven turn-off.

He was cut free by firefighters who attended from Arbroath and Carnoustie.

A trauma team also arrived on scene just before 2pm.

The accident was cleared shortly before 4pm.

The man was taken to hospital but there was no confirmation of his injuries.
