A popular Mearns visitor centre has reopened for the summer season.
The Grassic Gibbon Centre, the spiritual home of Lewis Grassic Gibbon, celebrates the life, work and times of Mearns novelist James Leslie Mitchell.
The centre is a purpose-built building adjoining Arbuthnott Hall and is run by a voluntary board of directors on behalf of the local community on an entirely not-for-profit basis.
The centre features an exhibition, caf and book and gift shop and will stay open seven days from now until October.
