Teen battling serious injuries after crash in Angus

A teenager continues to battle serious injuries sustained in a weekend road accident.
The 15-year-old boy was in a car which left the Forfar to Carnoustie road shortly after 10pm on Friday evening.
The black Honda the youngster was in was travelling southwards towards Carnoustie when it left the road near Crombie crossroads and collided with a tree.
Emergency services rushed to the scene and the boy was taken by ambulance to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee.
The full extent of the boy’s injuries has not been confirmed, but it has been reported that his condition has improved slightly over the weekend.
Details of any other occupants of the car have not been released by police. Police have appealed for anyone who was on the road around that time to get in touch.
Anyone who may have witnessed the collision or the vehicle involved prior to this incident is asked to contact Police Scotland, Tayside Division on 101 or any police officer.
