With last year’s event raising more than £9,000, the organising Angus group are determined to break the five-figure barrier and have opted for a St Patrick’s Day twist to the celebration.
Lisa Mitchell, one of the organisers, said those attending can look forward to an afternoon full of surprises, but did reveal Butlers in the Buff will be keeping the company fed and watered.
“The Carnoustie Golf Hotel has been absolutely fantastic in helping us put this together and we’re really hoping to crack the £10,000 mark this year,” she said.
“An awful lot of people do not fully realise the amazing work Maggie’s does, and this is our way of getting that message out, as well as giving the ladies a chance to have a great afternoon together.”
