Officers were alerted to the fire by staff at DJ Laing Ltd at Petterden Landfill, near Tealing, shortly before midday. A large pile of bark chips had caught fire and officers remained on the scene for over two hours to contain the blaze and damp down hotspots. A spokesman for the company said no one had been injured in the incident.
