An Angus Council park will become the latest venue in Scotland to welcome a new environmental art installation.
Crombie Park will host Giants in the Forest next month, a series of large sculptures in the shape of giant heads which will be located throughout the woodland.
The giants are made of natural materials and will grow and change with the seasons. The project combines art, technology and the natural environment to inspire creative activity and to encourage more people to get outdoors and experience Scotland’s wilderness. The ‘awakening’ of the giant heads will take place on Thursday April 10, from 10am to 4pm.
People are invited to come along and help make each of the heads look unique and bring them to life by decorating them with plants, moss and other natural materials.
