Mr Mardall presents the Keilty family parents Garry and Elaine and children Fraser and Anna with a Glamis Castle history book to mark them being the first visitors of the new summer season.
A five-star Angus tourist attraction has opened its gates in welcoming tourists for the new season.
Glamis Castle, the home of the Earl and Countess of Strathmore and Kinghorne, opened to the public for summer at the weekend.
The first visitors to the 17th-century attraction are typically presented with a gift, and the castle’s interim director, Ben Mardall, was pleased to receive the Keilty family from Forfar.
