The National Trust for Scotland is looking for help in decorating the refurbished cafe and retail area at House of Dun, near Montrose.
The two sections of the country house undergoing reconstruction originally formed part of the stable.
Property manager John McKenna has made an appeal for old photographs of the estate.
He said: “We have a great opportunity to tell the story of these modest buildings and the part they would have played in the running of the house and the estate.
“We’re hoping to track down some old photographs, so that we can give an insight into days gone by at Dun.”
Any images relating to the House of Dun are being sought, in particular anything in black and white and depicting the general day-to-day activities throughout its history.
The trust also welcomes images relating to the stables and its workers and the wider expanse of the estate and garden.
To submit an image, please contact John McKenna on 01674 810264 or JMcKenna@nts.org.uk.
