The woman, understood to be in her 70s, fell and struck her head near Seaton Road in Arbroath. Emergency services attended the scene around noon after receiving a report a woman had been injured on a cliff path. Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance was dispatched from Perth and had airlifted the woman to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee by around 2pm.
