A motorcyclist has been rushed to hospital after an accident outside Forfar.
The rider was involved in a crash at Hornie Cross, just off the B9128, at around 11.45am on Thursday.
It is unclear how the man came off his bike but a spokesman for Police Scotland confirmed the rider had been taken to Ninewells Hospital and the road was blocked off.
There were no other vehicles involved in the crash.
He added: “We received a call shortly before 11.45am of an injured motorcyclist at Hornie Cross just off the B9128 in Forfar.
“Ambulance crews attended and police vehicles were in the area to control traffic. The man was riding a red Yamaha motorbike.
“He was taken to Ninewells Hospital with a suspected broken leg.”
