An Angus pupil’s hopes of becoming the next Buzz Aldrin have been given a boost.
Arbroath High School S5 pupil Greg Robson dreams of one day becoming an astronaut and he has now successfully applied to the Scottish Space School.
The week-long residential summer school in Glasgow is supported by Nasa and places are extremely sought after.
An Arbroath High School spokeswoman said: “Greg has surpassed many fantastic applicants. The top 10 students from the programme will be selected for a seven-day learning journey to Johnson Space Center in Houston in October.
“Science and technology play a large part in all our lives and in the economy of Scotland, and the Space School seeks to inspire the next generation to pursue science related courses of study, and consider careers in science and technology.”
