Motorcyclist injured in “serious” collision on A92 in Angus

A motorcyclist has been injured after being thrown from his bike following a collision with a car in Angus.
Paramedics were treating the injured man at the scene following the collision on the A92 between Arbroath and Montrose at the Brunton turn-off.
The stretch of road was closed at about 3pm on Sunday while debris and fuel was cleared from the scene with Tayside Fire and Rescue helping the clear-up.
The extent of the motorcyclist’s injuries are not yet known but a police spokesman described the accident as “serious.”
Motorists are advised to use alternative routes where possible whilst the incident is ongoing.
Police said there were no further details at this time.
