Over 30 cars hit in Forfar car tyre-slashing spree

More than 30 cars have been targeted in a town Forfar tyre-slashing spree.

The incident took place overnight and police officers were today involved in inquiries to find those responsible for the attacks, which have led to thousands of pounds worth of damage.

In all, 34 vehicles were hit in the area around the Greens car park, Green Street, Bell Place, Goosecroft, Bell Place, Queen Street and Wellbraehead.

Some vehicles had all four tyres slashed.

Police condemned the incident as “senseless vandalism”
