A court battle between neighbours in Montrose over barking dogs has concluded at Forfar Sheriff Court.
No order was made by Justice Rose Rickman after hearing the nuisance caused by two dogs a labrador cross and a cross between a newfoundland and a retriever had abated.
Sarah Begg and Paul Mavor, of Wirren Gardens, Montrose, started the civil action against Bruce and Avril Coutts, of nearby Gindera Road, last year.
They claimed the dogs were kennelled outside and caused a nuisance by barking from as early as 6am to 11.45pm.
Justice Rickman previously recommended the Coutts keep their animals inside and deferred judgment for three months.
When the case called again she heard the Coutts had followed this recommendation and made no formal order.
