German biker remains in a serious condition after road crash in Angus

A 57-year-old German biker who suffered serious injuries in a crash on a rural Angus road this week remains in a serious condition.
The rider was airlifted to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee having sustained injuries to his pelvis and legs when his bike collided with a silver Vauxhall Corsa on the B954 at around 5.50pm on Monday.
It is understood he was travelling in a group of five touring bikers from Germany when the crash happened between Peel Farm and Backwater Reservoir.
A police spokeswoman described his condition as “serious”.
The driver of the Vauxhall Corsa was also taken to Ninewells Hospital but is understood to have suffered only minor injuries.
