Bridie the guidie is a golden chance in Forfar Guide Dogs centre’s big year

An extra-special puppy has arrived at Forfar’s Guide Dogs training centre.
Bridie has been named to mark half a century of the organisation in the town and the coming months will see a £5,000 fundraising drive, culminating in an anniversary fun day on September 19 to sponsor her training.
The Golden Retriever cross Labrador was born in March.
“The support of local people was instrumental in Guide Dogs coming to Forfar half a century ago and over the decades their generosity has been unwavering,” said training school manager Logan Anderson.
