ByThe Courier Reporter
Plans have been lodged to create a new supermarket and petrol station in Stonehaven.
Sluie Estate Trust confirmed its development at the Mains of Ury will include a single-storey food shop, with 280 parking spaces and a petrol station.
The front of the store and the petrol station will be situated close to a new access road into the development, off the B979 Stonehaven to Peterculter road.
The lodging of the plans with Aberdeenshire Council comes after more than 100 people attended a public exhibition at St Bridget’s Church Hall.
Rival supermarket plans have previously been rejected.
