Warrant issued for Angus pensioner after she fails to appear at court

A sheriff has issued a warrant for the arrest of a female Angus pensioner after her failure to appear in court on Tuesday.
Mary Ralston, 68, of Cliffburn Terrace, Arbroath, had been due in the dock at Forfar to face a charge of behaving in a racially aggravated manner in Arbroath on May 20 and assaulting a man by slapping him.
She has also denied breaching bail and behaving in a threatening and abusive manner at Cliffburn Terrace.
A warrant was also issued for the arrest of Damian Bil, 20, of Wyvis Place, Dundee, who faces charges of sending messages of a grossly indecent nature at Hill Street, Montrose, on June 13, behaving in a threatening manner and possessing a metal pole.
