A Letham man was disqualified from driving for 30 months at Forfar Sheriff Court.
Robert Paul Watters, 39, of Braehead Road, admitted that on February 14 on the A90 and five streets in Forfar he drove a car while unfit to drive through drink or drugs.
He also admitted that on this date at Arbroath Police Office in Gravesend he failed to provide a specimen of blood.
He further admitted that on March 15 on the A92 Dundee to Arbroath road, between Salmondsmuir and Elliot, he drove with excess alcohol (42 mics).
Referring to the earlier incident, depute fiscal Jim Eodonable said Watters had initially co-operated with police but then had refused to give a blood sample at the station.
“In March the officers saw the accused in the same vehicle. When he was stopped, the accused said he had been drinking,” he added.
