Joan Armatrading postpones Arbroath show for a week

Illness has forced singer/songwriter Joan Armatrading to pull out of an Angus return on Wednesday night.
The star had been due to appear at Arbroath’s Webster Theatre but fans were left disappointed by the news this morning that the performer has taken unwell.
However, they will have to wait only a short time to enjoy hits including Drop the Pilot, Love and Affection, Willow, and Me, Myself I with confirmation the gig has been rescheduled for Tuesday August 18 at 7.30pm.
Ms Armatrading, a three times Grammy nominated and Ivor Novello award winner thrilled a sell-out crowd at the Angus venue last year.
The Webster Theatre said tickets will automatically be transferred over to the rescheduled date.
