The third Brechin Music Festival took place over the weekend.
Three members of 90s pop group S Club 7 performed to a delighted sell-out crowd at Brechin City Hall on Friday night.
This was followed by a successful outdoor concert featuring local bands at Glebe Park on Saturday afternoon.
The free event also featured a funfair, food stalls and a bar.
The music continued on Sunday with live music at eight venues in the town.
Acts performing at this year’s festival included Headroom, Heidrum, Around7, KJB, Ferus Cane, Ganked, Calum Campbell, Double Trouble, Makinadin, Buffalo Soldiers and Cheryl Brown.
The festival was dedicated to Frank MacDonald, a member of the festival committee who died in a motorcycle accident earlier this year.
l Arbroath and District Horticultural Society held its annual show at the Community Centre at Marketgate.
This year’s event included a display of Arbroath-made Shanks lawnmowers by collector Jim Wallace of Arbroath Chainsaws.
