Local man Euan Robertson dies in Kirriemuir accident

A man who died in a tragic early-morning accident in Kirriemuir on Tuesday has been named by police.
Euan Robertson, 42, of Beechwood Place, Kirriemuir, died after his works van mounted a kerb and hit a wall around 100 yards from the Newton Hotel in the town, coming to rest on its side.
Emergency services were called to Lindsay Street at around 7.45am.
A spokesman for Police Scotland confirmed the initial call had been to a one-person road traffic collision.
Paramedics and firefighters attended the incident.
The police are appealing to anyone who may have seen the van in the area prior tothe accident, or who witnessed the collision, to call 101 or speak to any officer.
