Amanda Kopel frustrated at long wait for Frank’s Law

The Forth Bridge could be painted in less time than it is taking to implement Frank’s Law, according to Amanda Kopel.
The widow of Dundee United legend Frank Kopel has been contacted by the health secretary about her campaign for free personal care for dementia sufferers under the age of 65.
Despite the letter from Shona Robison insisting the matter is “high on my agenda”, Mrs Kopel still plans to protest outside the Dundee City East MSP’s office later this month.
Mrs Kopel, who started campaigning in June 2013, said: “I feel that 27 months is far too long to wait for this important law to be passed.
“I would like to think that the Government won’t take another 27 months to reach a conclusion.”
Ms Robison said: “Whilst I appreciate that progress may appear slow and that this will be of frustration… it is vital that any changes made are fair and that we need to take time at this stage to fully ensure that any changes we make are sustainable in the long-term.”
