Funbox gig in Forfar helps raise funds for charity
ByThe Courier Reporter
A performance by Funbox at the Reid Hall in Forfar helped raise funds for a charity that helped a family in the town last year.
Ronald McDonald House put up Ian and Sharon Flanigan for a month as their newborn son, Kerr, was treated for heart problems at the Royal Hospital for Children in Glasgow.
Kerr is now thriving and his uncle Ewan Phillip, who runs EPL Events, wanted to organise a fundraising afternoon to thank the charity.
Many members of the audience came dressed as their favourite animal.
A professional face-painting and costume stall was available for people to get dressed up.
