Angus man facing shotgun charges given two days to find solicitor

An Angus man who is accused of possessing shotguns has been given two days to find a new solicitor.

Craig Arbuckle, 24, of Birkenbush Farm Cottages, near Forfar, is accused of having two shotguns at the cottages on February 7 2013 while not a holder of a shotgun certificate in force at the time.

Dundee Sheriff Court heard of a “breakdown in the professional relationship”.

He is also charged with possessing a self-loading shotgun with a magazine capacity greater than two and being in possession of a quantity of .22 LR bullet cartridges without holding a firearm certificate.

He denies the charges.
