The incident happened at around 7.25am on the A90 Aberdeen to Dundee road just after the Drumlithie turn-off at the Howe o’ the Mearns. The lane heading northbound was eventually cleared at around 8.20am. A red Renault Kangoo van, a silver Honda Accord and a grey Audi SQ5 were involved. Witnesses reported treacherous driving conditions due to ice. No injuries were reported.
