Major search called off as missing Arbroath teenager Elizabeth Toledo is found “safe and well”

The coastal search for a missing Arbroath teenager will continue this afternoon.

A missing Arbroath teenager was found safe and well following a major coastal search.Elizabeth Toledo, 15, was reported as missing from her home on Saturday night and sparked a multi-agency search.Police grew “increasingly concerned” for her safety and were to have requested a helicopter to aid them in a renewed search in the afternoon. Chief Inspector David McIntosh had said: “Elizabeth has now been missing overnight and as a result we are becoming increasingly concerned for her wellbeing.”However, Tayside Division of the force later confirmed the teenager was found “safe and well” and thanked the public for their help.
