Puppy eats ‘legal high’

A vet has warned pet owners to be vigilant after a 10-month old dog ate what is thought to have been a legal high left lying on a beach.

Robson Vets in Laurencekirk said a young beagle named Aramis was rushed in for treatment after finding and ingesting the substance on Kinnaber beach.

The practice also warned that another dog owner had discovered discarded needles while walking their dog on Bervie beach.
