Reasons to be Cheerful in Montrose following The Blockheads gig switch
ByThe Courier Reporter
Legendary band The Blockheads will now perform in Montrose following a venue switch.
The concert was due to take place at Brechin Town Hall but will now get under way at Busby’s on November 21.
The band sold millions of records with a series of singles, including Sex And Drugs And Rock And Roll, Hit Me With Your Rhythm Stick and Reasons To Be Cheerful when they were fronted by Ian Dury.
Since Dury’s death in 2000 the band has continued to perform.
The gig is being put on by North East Musical and Sports Promotions and tickets priced £18 are available from eventbrite.co.uk, Phoenix Photo Shop and Kraken Tattoos in Montrose.
