Two taken to hospital after car crash near Friockhiem

Two people have been taken to hospital after a road accident in Angus.
A black Honda Civic and silver Ford Fiesta were travelling together when the Honda lost control and collided with a tree on the A933 Arbroath to Brechin Road, about half a mile south of the junction to Friockhiem.
The passenger of the vehicle suffered serious injuries as a result of the collision while the driver was treated for minor injuries.
Both were taken to Ninewells Hospital, but their injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
Police Scotland are urging anyone who was in the area at the time or who may have seen the vehicles together to contact them by phoning 101 or speaking to any Police Officer.
