Two people were taken to hospital after a three-vehicle crash on a busy road in Angus last night.
Police attended the scene of the collision on the busy Westway commercial route into Arbroath, shortly after 8pm.
Three cars were involved, and two of the vehicles one orange and one red Nissan Note had to be towed from the northbound section of the road by a police recovery vehicle.
Details of the third vehicle were not available.
Tayside Police confirmed two of the occupants were taken by ambulance to Ninewells Hospital, and their injuries were said to be minor.
A police spokesman said that two of the vehicles, the Nissans had been towed away.
“Two occupants sustained minor injuries in the incident, and inquiries are presently ongoing,” the spokesman added.
