Police investigating thefts on trains want to speak to this man
ByThe Courier Reporter
Police have released a CCTV image of a man they want to interview over two high-value thefts that took place on east coast trains.
The incidents occurred on Tuesday October 20 and Wednesday October 21, both at around 10.50pm and on the Edinburgh to Aberdeen service.
British Transport Police (BTP) officers believe the man, described as being aged in his late 30s, slim build, clean shaven and with short brown or greying hair, may be able to assist with their enquiries.
One of the items stolen was a rare and valuable woodwind instrument.
The man pictured was travelling on both services and got off at Stonehaven.
Anyone who recognises the man should contact BTP on 0800 405040.
Information can also be given anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
