Kirriemuir Library has reopened after a £176,557 revamp.
The library has been redecorated, with new lighting, furniture and fittings in a revised layout. Work has also involved an extension to the staff workroom.
Angus Council neighbour-ood services vice-convener Jeanette Gaul said: “Research shows that improvements to library buildings lead to significant increase in use, and we will consider how we can continue to invest in our libraries in the future to encourage local communities to make use of their facilities.”
