Mr Spink died on Monday when his Honda motorcycle collided with a van in Craig Road, Ferryden. A funeral service has been set for Thursday, October 8, at 2.30pm, in George Stewart’s. All friends and family are invited to the service, with a respectful request for family flowers only. Family members are invited thereafter to the crematorium. Mr Spink’s mother Caroline said: “David was immensely popular and he will be greatly missed.” The 32-year-old father-of-two died following the collision with a works van around 1.45pm. Paramedics rushed to the biker’s side but he was pronounced dead at the scene. A fundraising page was set up by Mr Spink’s friend to support his family.
