Emergency services called to crash near Friockheim

A Mini and Vauxhall Corsa have collided on the Forfar to Arbroath Road, near Friockheim, this morning.
The crash happened at around 8.10am and it is understood there are around four people injured, including two children.
Details remain unclear but the Scottish Ambulance Service confirmed they are on scene.
A spokeswoman said: “A report of a two-car RTC came in at 8.12am and two vehicles arrived on scene at 8.18am.
“Everyone was out of the cars by the time we arrived but we are still on scene.
“We can confirm two children and at least one male have been involved in the incident and one ambulance vehicle left the incident at around 9am heading for Arbroath infirmary.”
Police confirmed early reports suggested there were no serious injuries and an update will be provided in due course.
Police have urged driver patience while emergency crews deal with the situation.
