Emergency services called to multi-vehicle crash near Laurencekirk

Emergency services have been called to a multiple car crash on the A90 Aberdeen to Dundee road near Laurencekirk.

It is believed there may be five cars involved in the collision, and police and fire services are in attendance.

Police are reporting that several cars have left the road and are appealing for drivers to slow down due to hazardous driving conditions.

One lane was closed to travelling southbound but has since been reopened.

It is unclear whether there are any injuries at this stage.
