The accident happened on the A933 Arbroath to Forfar Road at the Friockheim turn-off around 2.30pm. A white van collided with a grey Suzuki Grand Vitara which left the front of both vehicles badly damaged. The road was closed for a short time while the vehicles were removed. The women did not require hospital treatment
