A venerable Angus sports club brought a splash of colour to its Brechin ground at the weekend.
Brechin Buccaneers Cricket Club brought its annual fun run to Guthrie Park in an effort to raise funds.
The 200-year-old club is now a charity and relies on donations and fundraising events such as the colour run to continue.

The first 100 runners were given a free white shirt to maximise the impact of the powder.
Club president Fergus Reid said: “As a newly-formed youth charity, we are delighted to give back to the community.
“We have run the event at a loss for the past couple of years as part of our community and this being such a special year for cricket in the city we were absolutely delighted to see so many smiling, colourful faces and such a huge explosion at the end.
“We would like to say a big thank you to everyone who took part in yesterday’s explosion of colour and made it Brechin’s happiest mile.
“It’s about bringing together the local people and promoting the east end of the city. It’s often forgotten about during events and we are very proud of our history and location and want to develop this area.”
In June the club held a week of bicentenary events at Guthrie Park, and it gained the Gold Angus Club Excellence award in April, reflecting the work of club volunteers in providing a “safe, effective and child-friendly club environment”.
A 200th anniversary booklet is on sale for £5, with information, pictures and tales from the past including people involved with the club.
